Hello
I'm Phil Brown an editor with 20+ years of experience working in various formats, from TV to TVC, Business promos and Web content.
I was a founding director of Zoomslide Media Ltd (NZ) 1999-2016. During which I have been integral to the production of 8 television series, a few documentaries, loads of TVC's, Commercial promos and bunch of music videos.
While being part of a small production company and working hard to build it into a large one it gave me opportunities to experience many areas of the production process, my primary role was an Editor & Post Production Supervisor.... that can also point a camera in the right direction, focus the lens and hit the rec button.
Now I primarily work as a Freelance Editor. One thing I don’t do is say 'yes’ to everything. Sometimes I might say 'how about …’ or 'what if …’. and then I’ll happily explore every option to find that little piece of magic. I'm pretty good if left by myself with your pet project (or your best client) and I also love working as part of a great team.
